What “Dedicated” Actually Means

This is not a freelancer. Not a shared pool. Not a contractor.

There is a meaningful difference between someone working for you and someone working with you. Here is what you are actually getting.

They work for your agency, not alongside it

Your specialist is allocated entirely to you. While they are on the clock, they are not splitting attention between four other clients. Every working hour is yours.

You talk directly to them — always

No account manager in the middle. No ticket system. No waiting for someone to relay your message. You Slack them, they respond. That is the working relationship.

They learn your agency, not just your tasks

Over the first few weeks, they absorb your standards, your client communication style, and your delivery expectations. They get better at representing your agency the longer they work with you.

Your timezone. Your schedule. Your tools.

They show up when you need them. Whether you run on Slack and Notion or Asana and ClickUp, they work in your environment from day one — not the other way around.

Available Roles

Not a general talent pool. Specialists matched to how agencies actually work.

Getting Started

From call to fully plugged in — inside 5 business days.

A tight onboarding is a deliberate process, not an accident. Here is exactly what happens between your first call and your specialist’s first deliverable.
Day 1
Discovery call
We learn your agency: delivery stack, client type, the specific role you need filled, and what success looks like for you. No forms — a real conversation.
Day 1–2
Specialist match
Based on your brief, we identify the right person from our trained roster. You get a profile to review before anything moves forward.
Day 2–3
Kick-off call
You meet your specialist directly. They receive tool access, review your brand guidelines, delivery standards, and active client context.
Day 3–4
First task
A real task goes through the system. You review the output, give feedback, and calibrate. This is where the relationship starts becoming second nature.
Day 5
You step back
Delivery runs through your specialist. You lead the agency. That is the only role you should be playing from here.

They do not just execute tasks. They understand the business context behind every project. That is the difference between a vendor and a real growth partner.

FAQ

Questions about the Dedicated Specialist model

These cover the specifics of this model. If you are comparing it with the Shared Team option, the best thing to do is book a call — we will walk you through the difference and which one actually fits where your agency is right now.
Is this person actually full-time on my account only?
Yes. A Dedicated Specialist is allocated entirely to your agency and works no other accounts during their contracted hours with you. That exclusivity is the core of this model and what separates it from a shared or freelance arrangement.
However you currently run your team. If you use Slack, they join your Slack. If you work through Notion, ClickUp, Asana, or Trello, they work inside those tools. There is no separate system to adopt — they come to you.
We take that seriously and handle it quickly. If within the first few weeks the match is not working, we replace the specialist. Our matching process is designed to minimise this, but fit matters and we will not leave you stuck with someone who is not working out.
Yes. We match specialists who are available to work your hours. If your agency is in the US, UK, Canada, or Australia, your specialist will be available and responsive during your business day — not sending you work at 3am and waiting 12 hours for feedback.
Absolutely. Many agencies start with one specialist and add a second or third once they see how it works. A developer and a project manager, for example, is a combination several of our clients run. Each additional specialist is an independent engagement at the same monthly rate structure.
Three key differences. First, exclusivity — a freelancer is working for multiple clients at once; a Dedicated Specialist is yours only. Second, training — our people understand agency workflows, client communication, and delivery pressure. Most Upwork freelancers are optimising for their own rating, not your agency’s standards. Third, consistency — you are not re-briefing someone new every few months.
Cancel anytime before your next billing date with no penalty and no notice period requirement. There are no long-term commitments built into this model. We want you to stay because the value is clear — not because you are contractually obligated.
